I'm Sorry
I've been kind of dead. It's because I've been pretty lazy with the website, thinking about closing it down and such, but I can't let it go ! I've made alot of cool friends and such.
I've been kind of busy, I'm working on an online magazine called OLLY. magazine (don't ask about the name). Here's the link if you wanna add it on myspace, here.
ps. Is anyone interested in working on the magazine, like the layout and such ? We're looking for people to help out ! Just drop a message if your interested on myspace or comment here with your email.

What Horrors
I've come across one of the most horrifying websites ever.
Pro Anorexia/Bulimia sites.
See, it all started when I got my new issue of Seventeen and they had an article on people dealing with anorexia. One of the girls was talking about how she had stumbled upon a Pro-Ana/Mia (Viewing Anorexia and Bulimia as a lifestyle choice and not an eating disorder) and decided that they're ideals would help her lose weight. Stuff happened, and eventually she got treatment. I decided to google them, and to my amazement (or not so amazed as saddened) they were extremely easy to find. I clicked on one of the sites, and it had this letter called "The Letter From Ana" which was for beginners and what this "Ana person" expects from you. I started clicking other sites and they was even one on livejournal. It's weird because everyone on the sites act as though it's a sisterhood, they support each other and know what they're going through. One girl even said You can't understand us until you become one of us.
If you are dealing with Anorexia and Bulimia or any other eating disorder, I want you to know that I understand you to a certain extent. When everything sucks, when you can't control everything that's happening to you, the one thing you can control is your weight. I've looked at myself in the mirror and seen something that isn't skinny or "beautiful", I feel your pain, but please, please don't go down that road. Is it really worth it ? Is it worth giving up all the things you love to eat because you need to be thin ? Thin isn't beautiful, healthy is beautiful. You can achieve that weight you want without hurting yourself.
